Игорь – крупный бизнесмен-судовладелец, Анна – известный в стране тележурналист. Кроме того, Анна сотрудничает с небольшим издательством и выпускает книги, рассказывающие о годах новейшей российской истории. Одна книга – один год. Все материалы по ним находятся в ее рабочем компьютере на телевидении. В настоящее время идет работа над изданием 1998 года. К Дружининым приезжает подруга Анны Ольга, фотограф известного гламурного журнала. Именно она вместе с Анной готовит книги к изданию.
